Bucks County Playhouse’s 5th Oscar Hammerstein Festival presents…
A Staged Reading of a New Musical
Friday, June 21 • 8:00pm
Book/Music/Lyrics: Michael Patrick Walker
Directed by Matt Lenz
This charming musical comedy follows the travails of Theo, a socially awkward young man who is facing a difficult moment in his life. How will he get his girl, his job and his self-esteem back without losing what he values most . . . being the best Theo he can be? Michael Patrick Walker brings a fresh sensibility and great music to this classic “coming of age” musical. Join us Friday, June 21 for the staged reading of this new musical in celebration of the Playhouse’s weekend long Oscar Hammerstein Festival, which celebrates the importance of lyrics in the creation of new musicals.
Please note: Children under the age of 4 are not permitted into the theater.
