Anna Louizos (Scenic Designer, I Hate Hamlet) designed sets and costumes for School of Rock (Broadway, London, Australia, China & US National tour). For scenic designs she has Tony Award nominations for The Mystery of Edwin Drood, In the Heights, and High Fidelity. Other Broadway designs: Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn; Dames at Sea; Honeymoon in Vegas; It Shoulda Been You; Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella; Avenue Q; The Performers; Irving Berlin’s White Christmas; Curtains; Baby It’s You; All About Me; To Be Or Not To Be; Steel Magnolias; Golda’s Balcony. Numerous Off-Broadway and regional US world premier productions including Kings, Just Jim Dale, Sons of the Prophet, Speech and Debate, Minsky’s, Vanities, the Musical, Fly, Sarah Plain and Tall; The Tribute Artist, Olive and the Bitter Herbs, In Transit, Altar Boyz; Jonathan Larson’s tick, tick… BOOM!, Based on a Totally True Story, and The Secret Silk for Princess Cruise Lines. She has designed for many regional theatres including Dallas Theatre Center, TUTS, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Old Globe, Alliance, Buck County Playhouse, Bay Street Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, Goodspeed Musicals and the Guthrie among others.
