(Quartet, Jackie Wilson, Others) assembled his first R&B band in the ‘60s, Early Clover and the Bosanova’s, which became The Middle Georgia Soul Drifters, then Smoke Stack. Early traveled and performed with many esteemed musicians from Rufus Thomas to The Temptations to Little Richard, and collaborated with James Brown for many years. He has performed all over the country in the New York Apollo Theater (7-time winner, Apollo Archives), Bill Clinton’s Inauguration (lead singer of Cornell Gunter Coasters), Sahara Hotel’s Casino Congo Showroom, Planet Hollywood, The Rio, The Riviera, Bally’s Windows Showroom (“Solid Gold Soul” show), and many other major showrooms along the strip and downtown Las Vegas. CDs Early has released include: “You Gonna Need a Back Up,” “Love Man,” “Loving You,” and “Let’s Be Human for a Night.” He released a book, “From Sawdust to Stardust.”
