Bucks County’s jazz treasure Eric Mintel and the Eric Mintel Quartet return to Bucks County Playhouse for another electrifying performance. From the White House to the Kennedy Center, United Nations and beyond pianist and composer Eric Mintel and the Eric Mintel Quartet have thrilled audiences throughout the country and around the world and now you can see them live once again. Joining Mintel will be Nelson Hill alto sax, Dave Mohn drums and Jack Hegyi bass. Songs included in this concert will be classic TV show themes as jazz pieces ie: “Mission Impossible,” “I Dream of Jeannie,” “Spiderman,” “The Munsters” and many more. The concert will also feature songs by Dave Brubeck such as “Blue Rondo a la Turk” and “Take Five.” Original compositions by Eric Mintel from their latest CD “Live” will also be performed, including the popular Mintel original “King’s Journey,” which is firmly carving it’s way into the popular music scene.
