Spend the holidays at the Bucks County Playhouse!

Directed by Hunter Foster, musical staging by Jennifer Cody, and inspired by the classic American film, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of you, our “studio audience.” Complete with an applause sign, commercial jingles, and on-stage sounds effects, the talented cast plays all the different characters in this beloved American holiday classic, that tells the story of idealistic George Bailey as he considers his demise one fateful Christmas Eve. This tale comes to captivating life with the help of an ensemble that brings over two dozen characters to the stage. It premiered in 1996 and has since been produced countless times around the country to critical acclaim.

It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play was originally produced at Bucks County Playhouse in December, 2012, directed by Gordon Greenberg with musical staging by Lorin Latarro.

**There will be no evening performance on Christmas Eve, and no performances on Christmas Day.
