The Rocky Horror Show IS ALIVE AT BUCKS COUNTY PLAYHOUSE! The show is back and better than ever – LIVE ON STAGE at the Bucks County Playhouse!

Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, a musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, The Rocky Horror Picture  Show, follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank N Furter, his “perfect” creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures.

MEET THE CAST:

Erik Altemus HS

ERIK ALTEMUS (Rocky)

is thrilled to be a part of the cast of Rocky Horror! He comes straight from the Tony Award winning Broadway revival of Pippin directed by Diane Paulus where he originated the role of Lewis and also understudied the title character. Favorite credits include: Matt (The Boy) in The Fantasticks (Off-Broadway), Lewis in Pippin (Pippin u/s) at ART, Link Larkin in Hairspray at The Drury Lane Theatre, Jan-The-Second in Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann’s Yeast Nation at Le Mama (NY Fringe Festival). In addition, he has done work in film and television including: John Logan’s pilot for HBO, The Miraculous Year, directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow, Newman in The Newman Shower(The American Film Institute) and various commercials. John_Bolton - APPROVED

JOHN BOLTON (Narrator / Eddie / Dr. Scott)

received critical acclaim starring on Broadway as The Old Man in A Christmas Story (Drama Desk nom., Footlight Award). He was in the original Broadway companies of Spamalot (with Tim Curry!), Contact,and Titanic, all three of which won the Tony for Best Musical. Also on Broadway, he was the villainous Grady in Curtains and was featured in the hit revivals of How to Succeed… and Damn Yankees. Recent NY: Guys and Dolls in Concert (Carnegie Hall), The Frank Loesser Songbook (NY Philharmonic) and the host of Pageant. Mr. Bolton spent 4 seasons on TV’s Gossip Girl, and has had guest-starring roles on Blue Bloods, Boardwalk Empire, The Good Wife and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He had recurring roles on both All My Children and As the World Turns. At Bucks County Playhouse he co-starred in Hello Dolly! and Into the Woods, and directed 42nd Street. His favorite TV show really IS Lost in Space.

NICK CEARLEY (Brad Majors)

is thrilled to return to Bucks County Playhouse and the role of Brad. Nick is 1/2 of the “Undie”-Rock Comedy Duo known as The Skivvies (theskivviesnyc.com) which he co-created with Lauren Molina and has been most recently critically acclaimed by People Magazine, The New York Times, Out Magazine, Perez Hilton, and Wall Street Journal.He is currently appearing in the Off Broadway hit Pageant the Musical. Broadway 1st National: All Shook Up. Regional Premieres: Henry in Next to Normal (League of Cincinnati Theatre Award for Acting Excellence), …And Then I Wrote a Song About It (Best Lead Actor in a Musical/The Star Ledger, NJ), …Spelling Bee, …Trailer Park Musical, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Bay Street Theatre, Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, Huntington Theatre Company, Luna Stage, Diversionary Theatre, Rubicon Theatre, American Stage Theatre Company. JENNIFER CODY (Columbia)

On Broadway, Jennifer has been in many shows including: A Christmas Story, Shrek the musical, Pajama Game, Taboo, Urinetown the musical, No No Nanette (encores), Best Little Whorehouse in Texas(Actor’s fund), Seussical the Musical, Grease, Beauty and the Beast andCats. Jennifer has spent the last few years lending her voice to movie and TV characters and commercials. She won the Annie Award (The voice-over Oscar for Best Actor in an Animated Motion Picture Feature Film) for creating the voice of Charlotte La Boeuff in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. She also is the voice of Darcy in Nickolodeon’s Winx Club and Lucy in Robot and Monster. Off Broadway, she was thrilled to create original roles in Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party (MTC), Charles Bush’s Judith of Bethulia (Theatre for the New City) and Henry and Mudge (Lucille Lortel).
