Word of Mouth Storytelling Performance: “Key”
Friday, March 20 • 7:30pm
Our monthly Word of Mouth performance series feature an evening of stories told by some of the best storytellers from NYC, NJ, and PA’s most popular storytelling shows, including The Moth, The Liar Show, R!SK, Cake, Out by Ten and many more. Performed onstage in Lambertville Hall’s intimate cabaret setting, this season’s story themes will take us from the dwindling days of summer all the way through the darkest night of the year.
Single tickets to Word of Mouth shows are available for purchase.
When you sing it begins with “Do, Re, Me,” when it’s a story it could begin with a tool of egress where, unless it’s a skeleton or master, access is granted or denied. Or maybe it’s a verb, like a retaliatory scratch on an ex’s car, or not a word but a set of symbol rendering maps understandable, code breakable, and encrypted data readable. Tonight’s show if for you to decipher. Five stories for the extremely private, or the naturally symphonic, or the just-like-the-rest-of-us for whom it’s the jingle jangle and the turn of the wrist that gets us home.
