TRENYCE COBBINS a Top 5 finalist on “American Idol,” transformed that moment into a thriving career as a vocalist, actress, dancer, and host. After her success on the show, Trenyce became a prominent figure in the theater world, headlining in Broadway hits and international productions. She later joined the 30-year anniversary tour of Ain’t Misbehavin’ with fellow “American Idol” alumni Ruben Studdard and Frenchie Davis, earning a Grammy nomination for the cast album. Trenyce expanded her international presence, starring in London’s West End production of Thriller Live for nearly five years and headlining Taboo in Macau, China. Beyond theater, she made film cameos and played Coach Cadell in Marvel’s “Kick-Ass 2” alongside Jim Carrey. Trenyce’s diverse talents have solidified her status as an accomplished international theater diva. Most recently she set her eyes on tv/film starring in two films back to back, “WEIRD: The Weird Al Yankovic Story” as Diana Ross and Nicole in the BETPLUS Christmas film “The Christmas Ringer.”
