INFO
OUR QUALITY OF LIFE

The Playhouse inspires, entertains and engages audiences with theatrical productions of new and classic plays and musicals featuring Broadway and Hollywood artists. Our vision is to produce the highest quality in professional theatre – from reinvented classics to new works – all while entertaining and inspiring you: our audience.

OUR LOCAL ECONOMY

The Playhouse brings more than 85,000 visitors through its doors and to its new river-front restaurant each year and encourages over $10,000,000 in ancillary spending for the region by the Playhouse and its audiences. (Americans for the Arts Economic Impact Survey).

OUR CHILDREN

The Playhouse ensures that children in our community have accessible, viable and vibrant arts education programs and creative activities. The Playhouse’s programs encourage creative thinking through writing, storytelling, theatre, and visiting artist workshops. Our education program promotes artistic excellence in a community-centered environment, continuing the Playhouse’s history of mentoring young people and fosters relationships between professional artists and the community.
