Bucks County Playhouse is a historic, nationally recognized, non-profit professional theater. While we occasionally present visiting artists, the Playhouse is a producing theatre with costumes, props and all other production elements created specifically for our stage. Our four-show mainstage season generally begins in May and runs through the end of year.
There is no dress code, unlike a night at the movies, going to the theater means you’re going to be seated in front of talented actors in person, so a level of respect for their craft and the venue is appropriate. Otherwise, wear whatever you are comfortable in. Some patrons like to come “dressed up” to the theatre, others prefer more comfortable attire.
No one under the age of 4 is admitted to the theater. Anyone entering the theatre, including children, must have a ticket. Age appropriateness varies with each production. Contact the Box Office at 215-862-2121 or email info@buckscountyplayhouse.org to verify what is the best age for the show you wish to attend.
Due to Actors Equity and copyright regulations, ANY kind of recording – audio or visual – is strictly prohibited, and cameras or recorders are subject to confiscation.
