Cameron Krauss

About the Instructor: Cameron Krauss (he/him) is an actor, singer, pianist, music director, and teacher based in Langhorne, PA. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Music Education at Rider University, where he studies voice as his primary instrument and piano as his secondary. He has been playing piano since the age of six and performing since the age of ten (long enough to know that a missed note isn’t the end of the world, but a missed chance to connect with people might be).

As a music director, Cameron has worked extensively in both professional and educational settings, recently conducting The SpongeBob Musical and serving as Assistant Music Director for various productions at Rider University. He thrives on collaboration and enjoys helping casts and musicians find the heartbeat of a show, making every rehearsal room a space that balances hard work with joy. He is particularly drawn to work that blends humor with heart, creating performances that leave audiences laughing, thinking, and feeling seen.

Beyond theater, Cameron is the accompanist for Langhorne Presbyterian Church and has worked with a variety of churches and organizations, including 54 Below, the Kimmel Center, Ensenble Arts Philly, and Bucks County Playhouse. He also teaches private piano and voice lessons, where his favorite moments are when students surprise themselves with what they can do. A passionate advocate for inclusivity, he strives to create body-positive and accessible spaces in the arts, believing that storytelling is at its best when it reflects the full range of human experience.

In 2024, Cameron was honored with the “Outstanding Performance in an Ensemble” award at the Jimmy Awards (The National High School Musical Theatre Awards), where he represented the Philadelphia Independence Awards (a.k.a. PIA) for his portrayal of King Arthur in Monty Python’s Spamalot, allowing him to collaborate with talented performers from across the country and grow as an artist. At PIA, he also won the Best Lead Actor award.
