RAVI KAPOOR

RAVI KAPOOR is an LA-based writer/director/actor born and raised in Liverpool. He wrote and directed the feature film “Four Samosas,” a quirky heist comedy set in LA’s Little India which premiered at Tribeca. He also directed and co-wrote the feature “Miss India America,” a coming-of-age comedy set in the world of South Asian American beauty pageants. His first play Oh Sweet Sita, a modern verse play based on the Ramayana, was produced by Tara Arts in London and remounted in Toronto. He also wrote and directed the play O!Edipus for the Hollywood Fringe Festival and his verse play Prince Of Delhi Palace received rehearsed readings at the National Studio Theater in London and the Taper in LA. Ravi was a series regular on the TV shows “Gideon’s Crossing” (ABC) and “Crossing Jordan” (NBC) for which he also directed; and he’s also appeared in numerous other TV shows and movies including “Flight,” “Bookclub,” “The Starling,” “Family Switch,” “24,” “Sharp Objects,” “NCIS,” “Elementary,” “The Brink,” “Upload” and many more.
